Blake grew up in Montreal and moved to Sarnia in 1978. He earned his LL.B. from the University of Ottawa in 1983 and began his legal career in private practice.
Driven by a lifelong passion for aviation, Blake joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1990, earned his pilot's wings in 1992, and flew both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
After his military service, Blake returned to Sarnia, earned a Bachelor of Education, and spent 25 years teaching Grades 11 and 12 Law at St. Patrick's Catholic High School with the St. Clair Catholic District School Board.
Following his retirement from teaching, Blake returned to legal practice, where he draws on decades of legal, military, and educational experience to provide thoughtful counsel and practical, results-oriented advice.
Outside the office, Blake enjoys canoeing, hiking, reading, and spending time with his family.
